Journey Recommendations + User Testing
User 01 - Haiyan Zhang
Task: to find the article "Wellington's Trolley Buses to continue..."
Actions:
User testing for this went straight forward, everyone seemed to be able to complete the task without a problem. However this user journey is specifically about navagation and has no personalised feature to make Haiyan expereince easier, so this is what I could start thinking about.
User 02 - Hemi Kamana
Task: to find the video section and watch a news video.
Actions:
This journey is very short and straight forward.
The people I tested on had not problems.
However I am un sure about having the "watch" section away from the full menu, it's a bit confusing.
User 03 - Mike Richards
Task : Find the article "Uni Fee Changes Unfair" and post a comment.
Actions:

I has the most trouble user testing this journey.
Everyone one I tested on got confused about which category the article would be under, I think I need to re-think where I am going to group things. After they found the category it was a straight forward journey to comment.
User 04 - Sarah Blake
Task: To contribute an article through the "Our Dominion" Page.
Actions:
The feedback I got from Tim about this journey was that it would be good to explore how the contribution of the article and have a few more options like inserting a photo and being able to preview what it looks like.
User 05 - Andrea Pazmandi
Task: Read a sports article and share it on Facebook.
Actions:
The user testing for this one again went quite straight forward, however I think I need to re think how I am going to categorise Sport because there are so many different option.
User 06 - Barry Down
Task: Find a politics article and save it to read later.
Actions:
The feedback I got from this one is the the pop up saying "you can find your saved articles in the My Dominion section" was helpful, so I can think about how I can use these pop up to help guide the user.

- Open Hamburger menu in top left corner.
- Select News, then Wellington as a sub category
- Select article for Wellington news home page.

- Sign-up from home page pop up.
- Go to menu and select news
- Select National from the sub-categories
- Select article
- Scroll down to bottom and hit the arrow next to comments which shows other peoples comments and allows Mike to write something because he is already logged in.

I has the most trouble user testing this journey.

- Login in or sign-up using the popup on the home page.
- Select "Our Dominion" from the menu.
- Type story in the contibute box.

- Log in using pop up on home page.
- Select hamburger menu.
- Select Politics.
- Select an article.
- Select "save" on top left hand corner.
- To read the article select "My Dominion" in top menu corner and the article will be under "saved"
